Dusky Clearwing   Paranthrene tababiformis   Poplar, aspen, sallow and sea buckthorn   Yellowish-white, blackish-brown head. This species has not been seen in Britain since 1924.
Currant Clearwing   Synanthedon tipuliformis   Black currant, red currant and occasionally gooseberry   Dull white with yellowish tinge, dorsal vessel greyish and faint. Widespread over most of England and Wales, less common than it was.
Yellow-legged Clearwing   Synanthedon vespiformis   Inner bark of stumps of newly cut oak   Dull brownish-white, greyish insides showing through transparent skin. Generally distributed, reasonably common over the south of England.
